Have used CS 113 cam in the past but now out of production. What solid lifter cam should I use and where would I buy it and lifters. This will be a judged car so should sound like factory cam. Thanks in advance

Re: 1963-360HP cam and lifters
For decades I have recommend the LT-1 cam to replace both the Duntov and 30-30 cam when rebuilding mechanical lifter 327s, and examples of both have received Duntov awards. The Sealed Power/Speed Pro number for the LT-1 cam is CS-1145R. If it's not longer available, contact Crane Cams.

Well there you have it. 30-30 and LT-1 engines both suck.Mark Edmondson

Elgin Industries E-900-P
Make sure you do not get the E-910-P though as its the 30-30 cam.
Both cams are dead nuts friends.
Perfect for PV and Operations, etc.
Now make sure on the '097 cam Jerry you set the valve lash on the loose side according to Don Baker etal.
12-18 minimum. Especially on the fuel injection cars. John D
P.S. Its sad that Federal Mogul discontinued the CS113R. I must have sold many 100's if those cams for them. Plus all of you using it, etc.- Top
