Could someone tell me where I might find the build sheet on a 1965 coupe?

Re: Build Sheet
Roger - By "build sheet" if you mean Body and Chassis Broadcast Copies, I'm Pretty sure the consensus is that these are not available for mid-years, as they were internal documents for the St. Louis Plant - and they did a good job of de-papering cars before they left the plant. I'm sure others will chime in with more info for you, too...thx, Markthx,

Re: Build Sheet
Roger, You might be able to contact origonal Selling Dealer to get more info. I was able to talk to the selling dealer for my 65 Coupe & he had his copy of the sales paperwork, which had all the Vin Number & options plus name & address of first owner. Thankfully "Tom Henry" owner of Tom Henry Chevrolet in Bakerstown Pa. was able to find it & was happy to give it to me. I had been a loyal customer since the 70's.
NCRS has a service to get your Corvette's shipping date & origonal selling dealer that it was shipped to. Good Luck!

Re: Build Sheet
Roger: Took many seminars with Al Grenning in the past. IIRC the C2 and C3's between the paperwork in the plant and paperwork
sent/given to other entities eg.Banks/Carriers/Dealers/Owners(Protecto-Plate) numbered around 12 to 13 pieces. There was a staggering amount of info you want
out there. Finding them is hard but not impossible. If you can find the original owner somehow you might be able to find out "who loaned him
the money". I was lucky to find this out and get the info I wanted(Wholesale Invoice)from the bank who give him the loan. A lot of these banks "don't throw nothing away". Never know what you can find. LarryLarry

Re: Build Sheet
I found that my car was delivered to Bedford Chevrolet in Brooklyn NY. Apparently they are no longer in business. I bought the car in 1973 from a Ford dealer in Lexington MA. It was sitting on their used car lot. That dealer is also long gone.- Top

Re: Build Sheet
That's the same location. 1/2 mile up from Berman's Package Store. How's that for a landmark.?? So it must have been Hutchins in the 60's and Patriot sometime in the 70's.- Top
