69 L46 4 speed speedo cable routing
I have finally got my dash panel in after a bit of break to do other things. I have the speedo cable attached but the routing on the inside just doesn't seem correct. AIM illustration is not helpful.
Once the cable comes in from the firewall (above the throttle pedal) it curves over toward the speedometer. The question is does the cable go between the dash and the pedal bracket or does it go between the firewall and the pedals? In front of the pedals does not interfere with operation but seems like it rubs the pedal where the is no indication that it did before. If I run it between the pedals and firewall, I worry about interference with operating the pedals. Also, does it run above or below the steering column?
