I don't know if Gary Ramadei, a frequent contributor on this board and outstanding rebuilder of 1963-82 Corvette steering gears, does the main-line GM power steering gears. You might want to e-mail him and inquire. If he does, I'd definitely go with him. If not, I do not know of a custom rebuilder of these gears although I'm sure there are some. However, A-1 Cardone, a major commercial rebuilder, does offer a rebuild-and-return service on these steering gears. I have found A-1 Cardone rebuilt products to be of very good quality although I have no experience with rebuilds of these particular steering gears.
