Source for restored Suction Throttling Valve for 1966 roaster (early)

Hi,

Any ideas where to get a good restored air conditioning STV? My roadster came with a cycling clutch "upgrade" and I'm missing all the STV internals. I know they're big $$

There are two on eBay right now.

There is also an eBay seller called pacecarjeff. He has C60 parts often. I may have not spelled his seller id properly.

Thanks Harry, I guess I'm looking for something/someone I can trust. I've had pretty good luck on Ebay with more general parts, but this item is quite a bit more complicated than any of the other things I've bought.

Pacecarjeff can be trusted and may be a source. He was, and still might be, an NCRS member. I have used Jeff in the past.

I am working with a couple of guys right now that are having STV issues and may replace them with something else. They have driven cars and are not interested in judging. I will inquire about if they want to sell.

I also know a guy who has a 67 car with an STV installed from a 66 car, who is looking to return his car to POA. Again, I will check for you if STV is available.

You might advertise on NCRS Driveline as well as CF Wanted to Buy and see what shows up.

You might also call Classic Auto Air in Florida, who rebuilds these valves and see if they have any in stock.

The STV is problematic for reliable AC, and many are choosing to replace them. If you buy one, do not assume it will be without issues......whether advertised as rebuilt or not.
