I have been looking for an original 263 TI coil for my 69 435hp coupe for some time and I heard about the reproductions from Paul Baker who I believe is GoatHill Reproductions. I spoke with him and he swears they not only are a perfect appearing part, that they also function exactly as an original 263 TI coil with the exact same internal coil winding specs etc.. Before I make any decision on this I was wondering if anyone out there has first hand knowledge of these repro coils and if they truly function as an original 263 coil. Thanks!

He may provide great coils. I wanted an 091 coil from him and he wanted payment before he provided it. I was standing at his shop and talking to him in person when I was told this. I was told I was not going to receive it when I paid, but later. I do not know if it was in stock or needed to be fabricated. I found a repo and modified it as needed. -

Bought a repo 091 from him years ago and then found the real deal at the same show. Checked coil resistance with good test equipment when I got them home. Vast difference, they would not compare operationally. Other experiences with him prompt me to say what Jimmy did.Comment
