20170623_135939.jpgIf you want to receive full points then non dot OEM tires are the way to go. Of course from a cost vs points standpoint they make little sense but there are those who want to make their cars as original as possible. A good eye can stop the difference from 20ft away

I guess what I'm asking, what brand can I put on my car to get only 3 points off ? Kelsey does not offer a 775x15 on there website. Coker has there own brand in a 775X15. I drive this car to numerous events and want to flight judge after driving many miles. Going to Greenville in a few weeks, just got back from Carlisle -- Want a brand that will take the miles, need your opinions.

James, a compromise which a lot of guys do is put goodyear DOT redlines on the ground and source a Non DOT to use as the spare. Then it should be only a 2 point deduction. Also know that the spare tire does NOT have to match the road tires. So you could have redlines on the ground and a blackwall non dot in the tire tub and it's fine for judging.
