    1972 Lt1 convertible w/AC restoration

First of all this forum has been a great resource, I appreciate all the input I have received regarding my earlier requests for help.

A prior owner of my 72 LT1 removed much of the emission components, fortunately most of these components were saved and we are close to getting the emission system restored. Unfortunately the spark controlled solenoid TCS, isn't part of the components that were saved.

My research in attempting to procure a replacement is proving to be somewhat difficult. My Google search lead me to the Dr. Rebuld website, and his catalog shows what I believe is the correct replacement part (OEM part # 1114434). Apparently Dr.Rebuild has elected to shut his operation down, due to covid19 for the remainder of 2020 (maybe longer).

I'm hoping for suggestions on another resource.

I have seen a number of the NOS 434 solenoids on Ebay, one of my friends with a 72 Z28 recently purchased one off there as well.

Hi James, I'll keep a eye out on Ebay. My research seems to say that the 72 TCS for 350 engines were propitiatory to 72 ?

I checked out your 71 LT1 photos, very nice survivor. Thanks for your input, Fred

You might want to check with Sal Carbone--he is an NCRS member and posts here sometimes. I got some TCS parts from him a while back for my '71.
