Could someone tell me what radiator would be correct for a 1960 270 hp 2x4 /Duntov cam. Is it Aluminum and does it have a separate expansion tank? Thanks in advance.

The Restoration Rad. is the one you want, not the Direct Fit. https://www.dewitts.com/collections/...ation-radiator- Top

Re: Correct radiator for 270HP, 2x4 engine
The shroud is the same for all radiators. The core support is different for the top tank rad. The support for the top tank rad. has a drain hole on the drivers side and the top brace juts forward an inch or so. On the regular support, the drain hole is on the pass. side and the top brace is perfectly straight.

Also, a top tank rad. requires the use of a hood that has a step in the lower edge for clearance of the tank. You can see the difference in the two middle hoods in this pic.

Re: Correct radiator for 270HP, 2x4 engine
I think that you might also find that the brass radiator extends deeper than 300 - or is that 300 270 HP cars - than Tom indicates. I am aware of a very original 1700 VIn car original to the Phoenix area with a brass radiator setup.- Top
