    1960 Radiator question

I installing my rad and preparing to flush the system, including removing the two plugs on the block and have a question regarding air flow around the radiator particularly along the bottom of the radiator.

Is the gap in the picture normal or am i missing anything to deflect the air through the radiator, as opposed to below it..

The triangular corner seal looks correct and if you have the bottom seal then I'd say its correct. However the shrouds are a bit "wanting" around the sides and top. For driven cars many add closed cell foam pipe insulation on the top and down each side. Strictly your call but I did on my '61. Its effective and easily removed if desired.

Thanks, i will have to try that.. was wondering if you did anything to block the air flow between the bottom of the rad and the rad support?

My 61 had a long rubber horizontal seal that ran along the bottom of the radiator in between the two triangular corner pieces - I didn't add anything else.
