        Dick had a tough night last night but a fairly good day today, hopefully he will be moving forward overnight and tomorrow...sorry I don't have more to report...

                        Just talked to Reba...Dick had a good day today, no fever, although still on Ventilator, report from 2 of the docs was good...he's doing well

                            This just in from Reba

                            Dick's sister reports that he was asleep when she was there today as he had just had pain med. The nurse reported at 5:00 that he was alert later this afternoon and responding to her.

                                            Reba just called, Dick was alert and aware today, responding as best he could with hand squeezing, grunts and eye movement...doc is going to try to take ventilator out tomorrow...fever is gone...and he is healing well...keep the prayers & thoughts coming...past few days haven't been the extreme roller coaster like the beginning of the week...

                                                From Reba this evening: He looked better today and was alert until they gave pain meds. Let's hope we stay at the top of the roller coaster this time.
