1967 Rear View Mirror Cover

My 67 roadster restoration is complete except for a few small items. I am missing the plastic cover that goes on the rear view mirror. I understand the roadsters were only silver regardless of the interior color. Headed to Carlisle later this week and was hoping to pick one up. Can someone post a photo of the cover installed and/or a photo of the cover loose?

Looks like the one in my '67 coupe...don't think the convertible is any different.

Your picture shows an original. The color was molded into the trim piece.

Trim Parts makes and sells reproductions.........but the color is painted on as you state. I purchased a painted silver one for my 67 convertible about 10 years ago. Perhaps they no longer sell painted ones........you could check their website for availability and pictures.

Agree that original is better.

Trim Parts does still make them, colored as well as one ready to paint...no silver, though.

My 67 convertible looks like the one pictured.as well as color also.
