    What is the correct finish for the aluminum valve covers on a 67 327/350 L79? If anyone has a picture they can post I would appreciate it. Thanks Dennis

          Natural cast aluminum finish.

              I have a few sets I bought from GM Parts beginning in '64 and none had shine.

                      Keep in mind the original molds for the valve covers were used for many years to make reproductions. One sure way to tell is the O in Corvette started to close up and had a poor appearance as the years went on.
