Looking thru both the C2 and C3 Technical Info and Judging Guides (6th Editions), I've found that the description of the the rear license plate bezel screws are very similar (see below). Which leads me to ask . . . . .
In the C3 Guide, it states that the screw (#9414723) has a black oxide finish (guide actually has a colored pictured showing the black oxide screws). Is this a C3 Tech Info & Judging Guide oversight, or, am I missing something?
Also, since I only have the 1965 and 1971 AIMs, can anyone identify when the change was made to go from P/N 161901 to P/N 9414723?
Here's the Engineering Info that I've been able to find so far:
C2: GM #161901 is a PAN HEAD, CROSS RECESS (Phillips) head screw. It is a #10-12 thread, 5/8" in length, pointed tip, and zinc or cadmium plated.
C3: GM #9414723 is a PAN HEAD, CROSS RECESS (Phillips) head screw. It is a #10-16 thread, 5/8" in length, pointed tip, and, zinc or cadmium plated.
