I regret to inform you that the Texas Regional scheduled for October 22-24, 2020 has been cancelled. The Texas Chapter Board in consultation with the NCRS Board of Directors has determined that it is in the best interests of safety for the members who must travel great distances to attend the event. The Covid-19 outbreak has placed a large number of our members at risk and we do not want to compromise their health for this event. We will be taking steps to cancel all hotel reservations and refund all registration fees over the next few days. We thank all those who were registered for their support. We plan to be back next year bigger and better than ever.

That stinks, but I completely understand the reasoning behind it's cancellation. I think it's the best damn Regional all year. Sincerely. So many friends and good times. Tim, Carl, Howard, Frank, etc etc etc etc. Tons of cars too. Shame. May God get us through this craziness quickly and safely. Us here in Florida have high numbers so thank God if you're not in one the hot zones. Stay safe folks, next year will be even bigger to make up for all the times we missed this year. ARA

I was debating whether to complete my registration or not given the situation in Texas but the decision has been made for me. I had a sextuple bypass last October and missed the event due to surgery and now to Covid-19. I'll definitely be there next year God willing - and hopefully walk away with a first time Regional Top Flight! Third time is a charm!

Sad it had to be canceled and will miss seeing friends but I fully understand and support the decision. I work in a hospital in Dallas and am saddened each day by the patients fighting for their lives, especially the ones who don't survive. A good and responsible decision. Steve

Thanks for all you do. You have a tough job and you see the results of this first hand. The chapter wanted to hold the regional but in light of the situation here and around the country, we decided not to and the national folks supported our decision. It is the first time in 10 years we won;t be at Frisco in October.

We'll make it next year Keith, I am disappointed not to get that '67 L79 tanker into the judging too, but guess I have more time to make everything perfect, as you do! See you all there next year.
