Hard top designation on 63 trim tag

I have been told that the trim tag on a 63 Roadster designates whether the car came from the factory with a hard top or not.
Any guidance as to, if this is accurate and secondly, where can I find that designation on my trim tag, is much appreciated.

The C07 option is not on a 63 trim tag.

Your interior code may have some suffix letters which denote various options like C60 air conditioning and U69 AM/FM radio etc. These letters can also denotes which options are excluded.

Unfortunately "with or without hardtop" is not one of these for 1963 model year. It was shown with these Exception Codes for the 1966 and 1967 model years.

You are referring to ECL codes, and 63 did not have them.
