Side glass date backward on C2??

I have 63 coupe clear side glass. On one it is etched on the outside and reads from inside. On the other it reads from the outside. I searched the forum but this is a hard search. Is there any evidence that etched date codes and LOF logo etc were possibly etched on the wrong side as a factory error?

You are referring to your vent glass? Symmetrical installation - same glass used on both sides.

Not vent glass....roll up/down side glass....I have a RH and LH...I'm just asking about the logo/date etching....one is etches on the outer surface and reads normally fromthe inside....the other is etched on the inside and reads normally from the outside. I thought there were all etched outside and read inside.

both sides are read from the outside of the drivers window.

It is fine My 63 FI Duntov car had them both ways. Not an issue. Not normal but acceptable
