Fiber Optic Harness routing near dimmer switch
I'm installing the Main Harness and Fiber Optic Harness into the interior side of the firewall of my 1970. What I can not figure out, and the AIM is not detailed on, is how the fiber optic harness is routed as it passes thru the firewall. Does it go under the dimmer pedal just below the dimmer switch, or goes above it, or routes around to the engine side of the oval vent opening?
The AIM (UPC 12, sheet B8) is pretty clear once I hit the left most clip under the dash pad. It is between that clip and the firewall entrance that I am stuck on exactly how to route.
Any info would be appreciated.
