"GM Official Production Date" on NCRS Shipping Data Report vs. Trim Tag Date

I just noticed the "GM Official Production Date" on the NCRS Shipping Data Report I bought for my car (6/23/1970) is different than the trim tag date (F22 = June 22).

Are these two different dates? Or does the report have a typo?

Two different dates. One is when the trim tag was affixed on the line. The other when the car went out the factory door. Lots of information on past posts on that.

Thanks Mike. I should have searched before posting. I found this thread which was helpful:

        Mike and Mark,

Most importantly to management, the Shipping Date Report date is when the plant got credit for producing a Corvette.

I made a Mistake when I said it was on my certification label. What I really meant to say the date of E18 Is my trim tag.
