Help Identifying this knob - anyone know?

Hi

I am new to the forum and just bought a 71 C3. It has this knob on the drivers side radio access panel. I have not been able to determine what this knob does. It seems to rotate and have 3 clicks. There is a picture below. If anyone knows I'd really appreciate some input.

this is for the speeds of your rear window defrost motor

Thank you Jimmy. That makes sense because I found a small blower motor stuffed beside the drivers side rear fender well when I was checking the bulb and wiring for the light back there. Motor was not connected so that explains why rotating the knob didn't seem to do anything.

if you don't have a owners manual I would suggest buying one
