    1967 battery orientation on non AC 427

    Is the battery oriented so the post are closest to the firewall

    Dave,
    Just look in your 67 Corvette Assembly Manual (UPC 12, Sheet A6). The positive side (cable # 6286180) of the battery is on the engine side and the negative side (cable # 2981079) is on the fender side. The battery clamp, GM # 3887588, should be on the firewall side.
