65 Hood support mounting holes

A friend just purchased a 65 Corvette with the hood support on the passenger side. It also has the same mounting holes on the driver side of the hood. My 65 (#6912) only has the hood support and mounting on the passenger side. Were there mounting holes on both sides if the car came with A/C? Just curious!

65's only had the support on the pass. side. If the hood has provisions for the support on both sides, it's most likely a service replacement item.
