    65 Coupe Restoration

I am now installing the interior back into my coupe and would like to cross reference the screws identified in the assembly manual by part to the physical screw. How can I do this?

You didn't "bag and tag" when you took them out Dave? You can find some of the screws by original part number in the AMK catalog indexes. I've posted two links. The first link is a listing of all the screws that AMK sells by manufacture and by part number. Once you find the part number you're trying to identify there will be a page number as to where the part is displayed. The second link shows pictures of all the screws. Scroll down to the two PDF for "screws", open the file and you will find the screws listed by original GM part number. Hope this helps.

Dave, over time, just about every part and every issue pertaining to C1s, 2s and later generation of Corvette has been discussed in this Tech Forum. Often, members include a part # in their discussion, and it is not unusual for that discussion to include a physical description as well as an accompanying photo. All that said, I suggest that you just enter the AIM provided part # into the Tech Discussion search field and hit "enter". Try it - something useful almost always comes up. You may have to scroll through, open and read dozens of posts but usually you will find something that is helpful. Good luck.

          Ed,

Thanks. I will give it a try.
