conv. windshield pillar weatherstrip retainer

On a 66 convertible, which way does the high side of the SS retainer face? It looks like it should face the inside? any help would be appreciated.

Mel,
the high side goes inboard and the rolled edge faces outboard. It makes more sense when you see the weatherstrip lay in the channel. There is a photo in one of the similar threads at the bottom of the page.
