    '71 Power windows dead

I have never had any problem with the power windows until now. I had just replaced battery and the problem began. I have traced the power line from horn relay, checked in-line fuse directly off of that. PLEASE, can anyone help me track this down? Both windows are out. No sound or dimming of interior light when switch activated. Thanks, Mike
I assume the little rectangular piece with the 2 threaded studs to the right of the CEC relays is the circuit breaker. I have power at both terminals.

You checked what I would have checked first- the breaker on the firewall. Make sure these connections are clean and tight. They may have voltage but unable to handle the 40A load.

Since neither window works, the problem is probably upstream of the switches.

First check the easy stuff- are the two connectors from the PW harness securely plugged into the fuse panel under the dash? Are they getting power?

Next to check is the relay, its connections and ground, all located under the console.

It's curious the problem began when the battery was replaced. Why could that be? I don't see the causality but maybe someone else does... Do the windows work with the engine running? (Wondering if the new battery is weak.)
