73 and the radio suppression capacitor is connected across the brake light switch?

    Hi,
In the process of restoring a 73 and the radio suppression capacitor is connected across the brake light switch with blue cable splice joiners. See photo?
    Are these correct?

    Hi Gary,
Yes, those should be there. Here is a photo of them on my '73. Nice to hear that you've decided to restore a '73.

      Gary,
This looks to me as a service dept. repair. There must be a service bulletin on this somewhere.

Nope. My 1970 has the same blue connectors. If someone asked me when "Scotchlock" connectors became available I would not have guessed as early as 1970, but there they are. I wouldn't be surprised to see them on earlier Corvettes either.
