In the process of routing a new headlight wiring harness and I have removed the dash pad. I want to replace anything that needs to be replaced. Is there a place where I can find information such as insulation requirements when it comes to the dash area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do have an assembly manual, but it doesn't mention insulation.

An AIM has installation instructions - it does not specify material characteristics.

A search of this Tech Board will yield numerous threads. Your looking for insulation that WORKS and is not obtrusive.
