    Corvettes at Carlisle 2020

Just sharing a bit of info on this for those that are interested. I was at Spring Carlisle, which was postponed 2X, this past weekend. The state tried to shut it down but was unsuccessful. On Friday they made an announcement that Carlisle events came to an agreement that would allow the event to continue. using this as a guide, I'd say the show in August will go on as planned, fingers crossed.

Here's a news story on the announcement. Just Google Spring Carlisle, there's more.

From rumblings on the field I'd say that attendance was down but it was my first time so I have nothing to compare it to. prhaps someone here went and could add input on that.

I did not attend but was told by someone who was in attendance and has attended many Spring Carlisle events that vendor participation was only about 30% of usual and attendance was also about 30% of the usual crowds...that's quite a hit, but once again, this was from someone who attended many times...

I heard also that attendance was down.

You have to congratulate LANCE and the gang for keeping the spirit alive. Times will get better, and by AUGUST, hopefully we will celebrate our favorite car and a great event. BLOOMINGTON is a go for SEPT 12-13 at a new location LUCAS OIL STADIUM in INDY. No more rain problems

The amount of stress, rigamarole, and awkwardness required to attend these shows makes them easy to skip until next year.

I believe Bloomington is on Sept 11 & 12 Friday & Saturday only.

Yes I was there as well and that would be about right. But I think that had more to do with the event being postponed twice.

I've been attending Corvette's of Carlisle for almost 40 years. I've missed a few when I moved overseas. Saying that, I'll miss 2020 and plan on 2021. I hate to be part of the target group.
