Need some guidance on '69 Front Grille Pieces

All,

I am trying to confirm whether the OEM Assembly Line installed 3 plastic front grille pieces for a later produced '69 included their respective part numbers embossed on them. Those part numbers are as follows:

• LH Front Grille GM Part No, 3966553
• RH Front Grille GM Part No. 3966554
• Center Grille GM Part No. 3966555

I have searched and reviewed prior posts, but cannot reach what appears to be a consensus. Additionally, my 5th edition of the 1968 -1969 NCRS Corvette Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide makes no mention about the individual pieces including part numbers. I am trying to replace some broken pieces, and as you can imagine everyone has either original or NOS parts for sale. I just want legitimate OEM Assembly Line pieces.

The part numbers you mentioned were the PRODUCTION and SERVICE part numbers for later 1969 Corvettes produced after about January, 1969.

My original owner, September, 1969 convertible was produced with the aforementioned grilles.
