I have a few questions on my 1960 trunk division panel and mat. I've tried searching the TDB for the answer, but couldn't find any exact information. My trunk mat goes underneath the division panel because of the extra mat material and three of the lower division panel screws go right through the mat material. Is the mat supposed be underneath the panel? The part number on the mat has "USA 3783835 60" where the USA and 60 are in circles. The mat doesn't seem to be the correct since the AIM lists p/n 3777513. I'm not sure what year I have for a mat.
I have Bob Baird and Tom Howey's book, but can't seem to find a picture showing how the mat and panel are positioned. The AIM doesn't show either. I know the division panel is not correct. The panel is flat and doesn't have clips on top or slots for the lug wrench and jack handle. I have an early '60 with non-power top, so I should have a bulged division panel. You'll probably laugh, but I've owned my car since 1976 and thought some things were original, but are not.
Also, who is a good seller for correct division panels and mats?
Thanks for any assistance.
Pete
