I was wondering if anyone had some pictures of an original 64-67 A/C compressor fitting with the muffler, particularly pictures of just the fitting without being attached to the compressor? I know there were differences between the years, but I am interested in the part/surface of it that mates to the compressor. Trying to see if there are big differences between originals and repros.

Jeremy, there is a couple pic’s in similar threads below. Not sure if there correct, I thought the body is square where it bolts to the compressor,, the rounded one I thought were service replacements. There is a pic of Harry’s 63 that shows the square body below.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

What I understand is the square body is correct for 63 and 64-67 have the binocular shape. What I am trying to see if the mounting surface of the fitting is flat all the way across or if it has raised areas that mounts to the compressor.
Here is one from the forum here (64-65) and notice this is no space between the fitting and the compressor, and some others of the repros being sold.- Top

For Comparison:
The end that attaches to the compressor would be the same as it the same compressor. The O-rings would be the same as well.
