C1 Headlight Bulb Retainer Cup

What was the original finish on the retainer cup, the ones from mine look like maybe they are a cadmium finish or galvanized, old and pretty weathered looking. The repos are painted black the same as the main headlight bucket.

Your originals are correct. Later model Corvettes were black. Repros are designed to be less generation-specific.
