Re: 1965 396 Corvette Survey?
It seems that the owner of another list of Corvette information made some of his information public and ended up in court. In this litigious society we live in, if I had the list, I danged sure would keep it close to the vest.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: 1965 396 Corvette Survey?
In the end, it's a personal decision to post or not post info on their Corvettes. Anyone who's provided their Corvettes info for any of these lists has done so voluntarily. Right now, the only two that have 1965 396's posted that I know of are the C2 Registry and Larry N Johnson's list on the Corvette Forum.Mike T. - Prescott AZ.- Top

Re: 1965 396 Corvette Survey?
Lists are fun and can be interesting - take Wayne's late list above. Serial range of 52 cars at the end; 17 cars reported - almost exactly 1/3; 4 396
cars; 6 with A/C; 7 coupes, 10 "it's Summertime" convertibles; only 2 base motor cars and NO powerglides...........- Top

Re: 1965 396 Corvette Survey?
I would be interested in this topic as well as many of you know.
Perhaps we could begin to rebuild/build a collective list that would beneficial to enthusiasts, owners of and future owners of as well as formalizing research for the NCRS. The trick is getting people to share and collaborate. I have encountered resistance.
Bill Williamson and I had few discussions sharing what had we found before he passed but neither of us followed up. His list I have no idea where it went and he never sent. Others have their own personal surveys from owners to former team leaders. I have my own individual survey. Vins, Builds, Corresponding dates of Carbs, radiators to alternator adjusting bolt washers etc etc. Gregory Keith has his as well based on straight and curved neck cars. Bill, Wayne Loren etc It would be great to put our 396 heads together and consolidate. If you guys or anyone else is interested please send me a message.- Top
