    67 Gauge cluster cover questions

    67 L-71 Dash cluster cover. Thoughts on the holes poked in the speedometer side of the cover and the ink date stamp being on the LB decal vs most others being on the bare metal portion of the cover?

      The date stamp can be anywhere, they were hand applied. Those 3 extra holes however should definitely not be there. Looks like someone shot it with a small caliber to punch holes like that. For sure not a recommended way to fix a broken speedo.

          The holes were applied to lube the speedo! Didn't work either. Have seen many like this one thru the years.
