    Windshield Protection Film

    Has anyone tried this product?
Safeguard your windshield with ClearPlex Classic and Contour, the optically clear film that protects against rock chips, debris, and UV rays while maintaining visibility and safety.

    Re: Windshield Protection Film

This stuff was bound to happen, the wrap technology and window tint, clear bras HAD to get to the windshield. The cost of a new windshield is absolutely crazy, some are over $2,000 plus messing up the originality of many cars. Rock chips and sand damage is a fact of life these days-
I have not seen this one but I'll bet it is expensive

This looks like an great product, for those of us with impossible to replace windshields it would be a good investment. My question is will this result in a glass deduction during flight judging?

I think it falls into a safety issued and as long as the original is in the car there should be no deduction.

I'll bet if one of the big judges chimes in any clear bra 3M syle or windshield protection, wrap or whatever will earn a deduct

Yeah, $3 IF you could find a open Starbucks going thru withdrawal

I'm more interested in how well it protects the windshield and any functional downsides (optical clarity, wipers don't glide well,...).

Check out their website they show Ferraris and other high end cars that have very expense windshields. Looks like it absorbs energy of rocks
and other road hazards. Keeps from bullseyes and chips.

I have heard that it keeps the car a lot cooler in the summer.
