I recently purchased vent window weatherstrip kits for my 65 Corvette Coupe. I am a repeat customer. I started with the left side vent window. After spending over an hour folding your center rubber guide run into the vent frame, the rivet notch did not align with your cut out, and the total length of the weatherstrip was too long. In addition, the window is very hard to open and close, stretching the rubber as it is closed. I had to re notch the strip for the frame rivet and cut the end of the strip. I have included pictures of these problems.

Re: 65 Coupe weatherstripping
Have not tried either of those venders for that part but have used LI for a 67 and a 66 coupe recently. The whole assembly takes some messaging of the many bendable parts but LI weatherstrips worked well.- Top

Re: 65 Coupe weatherstripping
It’s highly likely that LIC, CA and most other vendors all get the weatherstripping from Corvette Rubber Co. Don’t know of any other manufacturers of the product. Perhaps some of the more knowledgeable will pipe up but a search for manufacturers only produces one result.
I used CR for my vent window and yes it does take some skill and patience to get it right but it does work.

Re: 65 Coupe weatherstripping
Not a real answer to your question, but you do not want to find and install a set of NOS weatherstripping to your windows. Back in the day of my 65, my original W/S were dry and cracked. Boy, I found a really great looking pair of NOS ones. I installed them and an year later they looked just like my old original ones; dry and cracked. Well, they were 25 years old also! Just had been sitting in a box all those years. Those were the good days.- Top
