Specs on "special washers" noted in AIM

When looking at the 66 AIM part numbers 3765135 (special washer) and3706737 (washer L 79 only) are noted as being used for mounting the air conditioning compressor. Does anyone have the specs on these two washers? Need both but have no idea what to look for. Thanks!

Nothing really too special about them:

GM #3765135----13/32" ID, 11/16" OD, 3/32" thickness, zinc plated; discontinued without supersession 2011

GM #3706737----13/32" ID, 3/4" OD, 3/16" thickness, zinc plated; discontinued without supersession July, 1998

A=ID, B=OD, C=Thickness

3765135 Also this Page states "Plain".


3706737 Didn't find finish on this one. (Joe did as I was looking)

3706737 is in '66 P & A under GRP. 7.371 It is listed for '53 Corvette. I can understand how you could miss that one!

I googled the parts numbers on the web and Dr. Rebuild sells the 3765135 GM washer for $4.50 each and the 3706737 GM washer for $10 each........a real bargain!

Is anyone aware of a 5/16 flat washer 3/4 inch in diameter and 3/16" thick that a person can buy? Dr. Rebuild seems to be closed for now. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks to all of you for the help! Ordered 10 of the73250094 thick washers from Grainger as well as some of the thinner (but still thicker than hardware store variety) 71925879 washers and promised delivery date is this Thursday. If anyone reading this needs any of those numbers contact me through this board and they are yours for a SASE. Again, thanks for all of the help. Some of these little details are very time consuming and it is help from all of the members of this forum that allows an individual to find a solution.
