Connector for headlight door open indicator switch

    Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me. I noticed that the "Headlamps" indicator dash light on my '69 was going off as soon as the right headlamp was in the full "up" position -- even if the left one was not quite there yet. (It should be waiting for both headlamps to be in the full "up" position before turning off.)

I took a look up front, and sure enough, the plug that goes into the left headlamp indicator switch has one of the two wires broken off of it. It broke right at the plug end, so there is no easy way to re-attach the wire.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of these connectors (with pigtails) that I could splice in? Anyone know the original part number?

I have looked in all the catalogs, and even on Lectric Limited's site, but I can't find this offered anywhere.

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

    Paul,
You might post a picture for us. It might fit other years as well. I have had success finding parts of a used harness and going back a ways on the harness and soldering/splicing the wires rather than trying to replace the offending wire or connector right at the end. FWIW
