    wiper motor washer parts

    one quick question when restoring wiper motor should you leave the yellowed plastic parts or go with new white replacements. if leave the yellowed what is good way to clean

    within the c-2 judging divisions, the white plastic washer distribution block takes a deduction, not so with the yellowed-cream colored pieces. who knows what these plastic pieces looked like in 63-67. i don't think they were milk white back at their assembly. mike

      Forget trying to "de-yellow" the plastic. It's "through-and-through" or, at least, too deep for removal.

        Same with the 63/64 plastic electrical harness "T" tie wraps....gimme the aged, yellowed original vs the new lily-white repros....
        The difference in appearance is pretty stark.... Some things are best left alone.

          If you're talking about the washer pump, why don't you buy the correct cream colored part?
