Any tricks to remove the cone from my 66 Kelsey Hayes wheels. Starting to do a restore.

Cone came off real easy. Now the work begins. Started by vapor blasting first.

Looking good. Don't forget to seek permission before heating the wheel in the oven.

Harry, That wheel looks great did you blast it or did you send it out to have cleaned?

I recently got a vapor blasting cabinet from Vapor Honing Technologies. I have it set up with a very fine glass bead and it uses water to blast. Really great machine! Took me about 4 hours to do this one wheel.

Harry, I think that was 4 hours well spent as the wheel looks great. So what unit did you buy from them?

Bob, it was 4 hours of pure therapy. I got the VH 3630 with a closed loop system, kind of entry level commercial set up.
