    1965 l79 alternator

    Have '65 L79 NON A/C. Has power steering. alternator looks like a
    rebuilt. looking up the correct #'s for the 1965 is#1100693-37.
    my car was made in june 65 so would a 5d14 id on alternator
    be pretty close? 5d14 = 1965 april 14?

      The April built alternator will be fine. The one on my April 10th built car was dated 5 C 8 (March 8th).
