    Bruce,

Per the VIN of your car, the 1965 TIMJG indicates you would need the type 2 jack. I was looking at this last light to verify I have the correct jack in my '65, VIN 22095 which should have the type 3 jack.

My #11045 car has a Type I jack. That time frame represents and overlap period so a Type II jack should work as well.

        All
I'm in need of a Type 3 jack for my late build '65 (July 21, 1965) . . . anyone have one that they may be willing to "let go" and sell to me?
Is so, please send me a message (raykrawczyk@hotmail.com)

If not, does anyone know if they are being reproduce by somebody?

My good friend in the early 1990's bought an unrestored conv from the original owner. It was never judged and came complete with paperwork, original driveline etc. The vin was 16411 and it had a type 2 jack and handle with one hole. I have pictures I took of it and the handle. There are many threads on this topic and I think you will find that the Type 2 jack is rare.

Bruce, I believe there were actually four iterations of the jack for the 1965 model year. Check out the NCRS online classifieds. There is a current listing that shows the four jacks (all for sale). You'll need to determine the appropriate Type for your car number. There is likely to be overlap as noted by others. The Noland Adams book is also helpful regarding dates.
