There used to be a non acid metal cleaning facility in the DFW - Metal Rehab. They did lots of work for Texas Chapter members. Unfortunately, they're out of business.

Check with Joel as the aircraft guys use metal stripping services and would think there should be some in your area.

john, i am beginning a ground up on my 64. i found a guy in Indianapolis he dips the frame and then power coats it. i have talked with him and he seems like a very nice guy. have not used him but i am planning on taking my frame and other parts to him. if your interested i'll forward info on him. mike.

john and steve, thats the guy i am talking about. pro strip. he seems very nice but as i said i have never used him but plan on doing so. john if you do use him or find another please tell me who you used and how they did. thanks mike.

There is a Pro Strip in Fort Wayne too. I used them to strip some honeycomb Trans Am wheels. Great job. They also do powder coat and thermal barrier coating.
