Attached are 3 photos thumb screw type master cylinder covers used on 1962-1963 Chevrolets and 1963 Corvettes.
I assume the one stamped "USE DELCO BRAKE FLUID" with 1/8" letters (top photo) was used on 1962 Chevrolets and the one stamped "USE DELCO BRAKE FLUID - FILL TO 1/4" BELOW RIM" with 1/8" letters (middle photo) was used with 1963 Chevrolets and Corvettes. I also assume that the one stamped "USE DELCO BRAKE FLUID - FILL TO 1/4" BELOW RIM" with the larger 3/16" letters (bottom photo) was a service cover and sold over the counter in later years.
Does anyone have an "early" 1963 Corvette with the original cover stamped "USE DELCO BRAKE FLUID" as in the top photo?
Dave
