    2-bolt or 4-bolt in a L68

    In the 1967 L68 427ci/400hp, was the 3904351 cast a 2-bolt or 4-bolt? Thanks?

              Eric,

              Your L68 was machined with 2-bolt main bearings. Casting #3904351 was used for both 2-bolt and 4-bolt applications. Original machining above the oil filter boss identifies a 2 or 4 bolt configuration.
