I'm in the process of a full body-off restoration of my 1965 Fuelie Coupe. The car had previously (early in its life) been involved in a front end collision. Not sure if the radiator shroud was replaced but assume it may have been. It is metal and appears to be correct for the car. The lower corners of the shroud appear to have been bent down for radiator clearance. The bending looks a little crude versus what might look like a factory stamping. The attached photo shows the bends (blue arrows). Would appreciate any input regarding the bends and what is appropriate. Thanks.

Re: 1965 Radiator Shroud Question
Hi Terry, It looks like the outside bottom edges were bent down probably to clear the tanks on a replacement radiator. Most replacement radiators I've seen usually have no issues with the original shroud. It appears to all be there just needs some metal bumping back repair and paint. I looked at the 64 and 65 here and the bottoms have a 1/4" edge straight and level. There's always a few of these shrouds on ebay with good pictures. Enjoy Mark- Top
