I'm going to pull the pin on the clutch rod at the assembly under the dash to install the two washers that are supposed to be there. I know that there was a running change and a thicker washer was added to the outer side of the pin. What is the thickness of the two washers. I thought I had read somewhere that the thin washer (3834560) was .013" and the thicker washer (3754153) was .018". I want to be sure I have the two correct washers in hand before crawling under there to do this. Thanks in advance.

Leif,
Google the part #'s and you may find the size info. I think the inside washer was the same as the exhaust manifold washer.- Top

Re: '67 Clutch Assembly Washer Sizes
Joe,
I have a sealed bag of five 3754153 washers and the ID looks more like .380 to allow a 3/8" bolt to pass through.
Am I mistaken or did you make a typo?- Top

Timothy------
As a matter of fact, the spec I found for the ID has it at 0.40" but I thought that was incorrect so I foolishly took the liberty of revising it to the 0.34". I just could not see how GM would specify a washer designed for a 3/8" bolt/pin to be used on a 5/16" pin. I still do not understand why they would do that.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
