    Unidentified 1950's-Early 1960's NOS Odometer Roller GM # 6456539

I have a NOS odometer roller, GM # 6456539, that I can not find its application in all of my 1957, 1963-1977, and 1981 Chevrolet parts catalogs. I do not believe that it is correct for a Corvette because the black plastic gear on this odometer measures 0.50" in diameter and there are 14 teeth. The small number on the gear is "6456541" and the number on the opposite end is "6407184-4". The instruction sheet was printed on August 1962. The date on the box flap is 9-65-7 (Sept. 1965, I believe).
I have seen a photo of a reproduction 53-67 Corvette odometer and that gear is much smaller.

    Dave------

I can find no record of this part number. Instrument parts were usually carried in a separate catalog in much the same way that radio parts were cataloged. AC-Delco service centers had access to these catalogs and parts but I don't think they could be ordered through regular GM dealers.

        Thanks Peter and Joe,
I thought that there might be a AC catalog but have never seen one.
