    plug wires

Hey guys, need a little help. I changed the spark plug wires on my 58 to packard 440 wires. The only problem is that the wires that go into the distributor cap are not elbow but are straight. Makes it to tight for the shielding.
does anyone know where I can purchase the correct ends. Also how do i attach them? Do they have to be soldered.
    appreciate your help

    Re: plug wires

    Bruce:

Go to Ebay and search under "spark plug wire terminals" Plenty to choose from. Here is an example, but there are many: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ignition-Sp...336237e99ca441

You want a set for 7 mm wires, which is the Packard 440 wire size.

Don't know if you need both ends and 90 degree rubber boots or just the metal ends. Dorman sells just the metal ends without the rubber boots.

    And YES, soldering is required.
