Quanta RestoGuard Wet vs Dry vs PreLube 6

This week I visited the Quant Products website looking for their PerLube 6 spray product, which I had used about 10 years ago as a rust inhibitor for parts I was storing, such as driveshaft and half shafts. It appears Quanta no longer makes or sells PreLube 6 and it has been replaced by a product called RestoGuard, which comes in a Wet version, that remains wet to the touch (presumably for a long time), and Dry version which become dry to the touch in the short term. Has anyone compared the Wet to the Dry version? And does anyone know how they compare to the old PreLube 6 product?

    Thanks,

    Gary

I know nothing about RestoGuard. However, I believe that PreLube 6 remains available, if not from Quanta.

Yeah, maybe PreLube 6 is made by Grignard Company, but maybe not in hobby size spray cans.

Here's one source. I expect there are more.

Thanks Gary. I didn't look far enough on the manufacturer website.

Back to the other part of my original question. Has anyone tried RestoGuard Wet or Dry sold by Quanta?
